What kinds of stuff should I put in my coffee?
I have just recently started to drink coffee and I was wondering what I should put in my coffee. I don’t want to put any of the fake Coffee Mate crap into it. What stuff besides Half & Half and sugar? Also, I use a french press (i don’t know if that means anything to you, but its some detail). Also, what are some good beans I should use? I live near places like Trader Joe’s, Safeway, QFC, Starbucks, tully’s,etc…

If we talk about coffee we should know that the origin of coffee is from Ethiopia, East of Africa. The people in Arab Peninsula at early time they knew coffee from the Ethiopian drink a coffee as a medicine. Nowadays many people drink coffee with many reasons. Every country has they own tradition.
If we go to Sydney, Australia, in the morning time in the Rock area we will see so many people went to the office with bringing a glass of coffee. In Spain or Italy we will found a small glass of delicious black coffee.
Anyway, coffee is a good business; according to a survey in Indonesia, a person of coffee drinker has consumption at least 0.6 kg of coffee a years. In Scandinavia 20 times than that; and in Australia nearly a quarter of total population drink coffee.
Starbucks Coffee, The Coffee Beans are an example of a business enterprise that success internationally and has a good income from coffee business. At some places drink coffee also as a life style, like at the developing country, the people visit a famous coffee shop just for prestige, not for a coffee itself. Visiting famous coffee shops become one of hedonism life style.
There is no documentation about the history of when exactly human starting drunk coffee. Some historian said that the coffee become famous during the period of 800 BC when some trader across Red Sea from Africa to Yemen. Another historian said that the coffee become famous when the Ethiopian expansion to Arabian Peninsula on year 525.
